I’m pleased to share that Alphatax has acquired TP Accurate, a specialist transfer pricing technology provider focused on financial transactions.
This is our second acquisition in the last 12 months and represents another important step in our strategy to expand our capabilities, reinforce our presence across the EMEA region, and continue building the world’s first tax operating system: AlphataxOS.
More importantly, it’s an acquisition that delivers immediate value for our customers.
Enhancing our transfer pricing offering
Transfer pricing remains one of the most challenging areas of tax compliance for multinational organisations. As regulatory scrutiny increases and requirements become more complex, tax teams need technology that helps them manage compliance efficiently while maintaining robust governance and documentation standards.
TP Accurate has built a cloud-native platform specifically designed to address one of the more complex areas of transfer pricing: financial transactions.
Their software enables organisations to price and document intra-group loans, guarantees and cash pooling arrangements in line with OECD financial transactions guidance. Through a combination of curated datasets and proprietary algorithms, customers can automate benchmarking, pricing, documentation and audit trail generation, helping reduce manual effort while improving consistency and accuracy.
This is a highly specialised capability that complements our existing transfer pricing solutions and strengthens the support we can provide to multinational tax teams.
By bringing TP Accurate into the business, we can enhance our transfer pricing documentation capabilities while creating stronger connections across our wider product portfolio.
Building towards AlphataxOS
Every acquisition we make must support our long-term strategy and ambition – to build AlphataxOS, the world’s first tax operating system.
Tax teams today often rely on multiple disconnected tools, spreadsheets and manual processes to manage compliance, governance, reporting and risk. We believe the future lies in bringing these capabilities together through a connected technology platform that enables tax professionals to work more efficiently and make better-informed decisions.
TP Accurate’s capabilities fit naturally within that vision.
Their expertise in transfer pricing financial transactions adds another important component to the broader platform we are building and moves us closer to creating a truly connected experience for multinational tax teams.
A shared ambition
One of the things that stood out throughout our conversations with TP Accurate was the alignment between our organisations.
Both businesses share a commitment to helping tax teams solve increasingly complex challenges through intelligent technology. We also share a belief that automation, data quality and strong governance will play an increasingly important role in the future of tax.
Michael Vorndran, TP Accurate founder said,
“I founded TP Accurate to address a longstanding gap in transfer pricing technology: the ability to accurately price intercompany financial transactions, which run into the trillions of dollars annually. Joining Alphatax means many more companies around the world can benefit from our solution and we’re proud to be part of a team like Alphatax.”
I’m delighted to welcome the TP Accurate team to Alphatax. They bring deep expertise, innovative technology and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by today’s tax professionals.
Looking ahead
This acquisition is about much more than adding another product to our portfolio.
It’s about strengthening our ability to solve real customer challenges, expanding the breadth of our platform, and achieving our vision to become the trusted intelligence powering modern tax.
As we integrate TP Accurate into the business, our focus will be on bringing together our technology, expertise and teams to deliver even greater value for customers.
I’m excited about what we can achieve together and look forward to sharing more as we continue our journey towards AlphataxOS.
