Alphatax UK Autumn 2011 Edition now released

Tax Computer Systems is pleased to announce that the Alphatax UK Autumn 2011 Edition has now been released. This edition consolidates improvements to the e-filing process ongoing since Spring 2010 with the inclusion of the Alphaview iXBRL review tool into the Alphatax E-Filing module. Other enhancements include:

  • Finance Act 2011 updates including rate changes and the new foreign branch profits exemption
  • Support for Property Authorised Investment Funds (PAIFs)
  • Improvements to the Advanced IFRS Reporting module including a fully automated proof of tax
  • Enhancements to Group to aid the administration and review of group companies
  • The ability to take a snapshot of a period at any time
  • A new review capability to highlight differences between any two periods and between period snapshots
  • A new function to allow the completion of Partnership computations and returns.

In addition Alphalife users will see the following enhancements:

  • Legislative changes to ICTA 1988 s432C apportionments
  • Enhancement of Controlled Foreign Companies functionality
  • Implementation of Overseas Property Business calculations
  • Calculations for life companies to which exempt business has been transferred
